Why oh Why

Colt shot an Elk the other night and my dad and him were headed up on horses to get it. So I got myself invited. I HATE horses, I'm scared to death of them. But I went anyways after all it might be fun. Right? Wrong I couldn't have been more wrong. I still hate horses and I know why its been 15 years since I had last rode one. Going up I did ok. I only jumped off once to walk up one of the mountains. I like the old horses that can't run to fast, jump to high BUT I didn't want the one that kept acting like he was going to die at anytime. (I didn't want to be the one that killed the horse) The whole time they were getting the elk ready to be packed out I was making myself sick thinking about having to ride that horse. I got on rode it for about 5 minutes and I starting to have a panic attack. I told them that I wanted off- no you don't you can do this. They kept walking my half dead horse kept following them. So I jumped off! I told them I would walk and I kept up with the horses for the most part. At first anyways. They would stop and ask if I wanted on but I couldn't after getting to the bottom of many steep mountains and getting to the truck I asked them to remind me if I ever say MAYBE to remind me that I DON'T!!

week long noise

They have been hauling trees from the mountain from by our house. I video taped it but it won't upload:( There was a lot of noise but it was fun to watch.

Paul was getting his hunting stuff ready and cut his finger. He came in and woke me up and said he needed to go to the ER. What?! Really?! I went into the bathroom to check out his finger. It was bleeding like crazy. I asked him if I could super glue it for him. (I got the are you dumb look) I looked at it some more and then I said Paul do you really think it is bad enough that I need to wake up 3 kids and take them to the Dr. with you? (Again I got a look) Paul HATES needles, Dr's, medicine so the mean side of me REALLY wanted to go to make fun of him as he closed his eyes:) I sure wish they would have super glued it instead of giving him 6 stitches. I should have taken pictures of him taking the stitches out- he is such a baby!! I wouldn't let him go to the Dr to get them out- after all that's another 20 dollars.

Back to school

School has been going for two weeks now. I was a little sad to see Deegan going off to kindergarten. He got in trouble the second day of school but he doesn't want to miss recess so he plans of being good:) Kynzlee has started second grade. Yes you heard me right- second grade! Yikes! I'm excited for Kynzlee she has two teachers this year. (Mr Johnson is teaching writting in the afternoons) It should be a fun year for both of my kids. They got great teachers this year!

FUNNY BOY!!

We went to Idaho Falls yesterday and Deegan and Kynzlee were fighting AGAIN! So I moved everyone around. Kynzlee got out of the car and Deegan say to me. Mom I wish you wouldn't have had a girl! Don't you wish that you would have just had us two boys?! haha too funny I got a good laugh out of him!

The boys next door were getting ready for the football game and painted Deegan also. He loved having his face painted and wanted to go to the game but I couldn't get myself to drag 3 kids there by myself. He sure looked cute!

End of summer fun

The circus came to town! The kids really liked the Lions and tigers to bad they only lasted for about 10 minutes of the show. It was still fun.


The civic center brought in a Fairy tale play land. It was so FUN!!!! My kids LOVED it. They asked every day if we could go back. I feel bad we only made it once because it was really awesome!



Then we went to their cousins to swim in their pool. Lots of fun!!

Fair time is always fun!! I have a love/hate relationship with the fair. As a kid I could have stayed at the fair all week and rode the rides all night. So one night I let my kids do just that! This year Deegan rode one of the rides so much he would get off go behind it puke and then get right back on.:) It was funny. He couldn't handle the other kids having all of the fun. Presten doesn't like the rides yet and Kynzlee loves them! My hate for the fair is we spend to much money on eating good food and it also means that summer is over:(
