Deegan love to be down to the barn! When he was little he would beg my dad to drive down and check on the cows but he wouldn't get out of the truck. So he has gotten so brave as he puts it. I love when we brand cows and it warm and sunny! We weren't so lucky this day it was sunny but so cold and windy-yuck! Presten and I didn't last long.










Deegan came up to me and asked if he had mud on him- A little:) Maybe this is where he picked up his sickness(post after this one)

what a trooper

Deegan got really sick this week. He got diarrhea so bad he had cramping and a fever. He had it for like 3 days and he told me there was blood in the toilet. I went in to look and there was TONS of blood every time he used the bathroom there was tons. Every time that he would use the bathroom he would be bent over in pain crying and screaming. So I could call our Doctor I talked to him on the phone about what was going on. He had me come pick up a stool kit. We took it to the lab and waited for a phone call. I finally got a long waited phone call from our Doctor. Hayley we got his test back he has Campylobacter (You get from animal poop-YUCK!! and he can pass it to us from not washing his hands after using the bathroom) and he is really sick and very contagious and he needs to be on quarantine.....what really do we need to tape off our house and wear mask? So after I panic and did some looking around on the Internet and then called back to ask some questions. Come to find out we dont need on quarantine. I sure wished he would have used another wording! Like keep him away from people especially kids under the age of 5 and as long as you are not feeling sick you can still go to work just wash your hands really good. I can't have daycare kids in my house for a week. He is already on a prescription and is feeling great. Cross your fingers that no one else gets it.

kindeedarten

We got a letter for Deegan to go to Kindergarten. He is so excited! "Mom I really get to go kindeedarten?" I'm excited for him but I am so sad!!! I'm not ready for my little guy to take this big step in life. He will have tons of fun!!

For a GOOD laugh.......

I really can not believe that I am posting these pictures....Yikes! Did I mention that I was so SICK?! Well I was! I had Bronchitis, Tonsillitis, sinus infection and water in my ears. There is my excuse for these BAD photos. My husband thought that it would be funny and they were but so mean at the same time. He did try to video tape me snoring but every time he got it ready I would stop. haha Go ahead and laugh I did.

Over it!

We have been so sick lately....YUCK!!!! Presten and I have been sick for about 2 weeks. We are both finally starting to get better with the help of the Doctors:)

Presten spent a lot of time in the bath. I finally got him to some what smile at me.

The one day I was so over the crying that we loaded up and went to Alpine to check out the Elk.

Life on the farm!

My kids love to help Grandpa take care of the cows! He no longer keeps them through the winter. He starts getting them the end of February. Its the best part of winter and that means summer is just around the corner!!

Deegan came in from school today with his cute orange beard.

Kynzlee is making us green pancakes I didn't take a picture of my pancake shamrocks because I was told they didn't look right but I thought that I did a great job! Deegan loved that everything was green he asked if we could do it again but with red:)


They also got green baths before bed.
